Beauty and the Beast is an American Drama/Fantasy television series which first aired on CBS in 1987.

Creator Ron Koslow's updated version of the fairy tale has a double focus: the relationship between Vincent (Ron Perlman), a mythic, noble man-beast, and his Catherine (Linda Hamilton), a savvy assistant District attorney in New York; and a secret Utopian community of social outcasts living in a subterranean sanctuary. Through an empathic bond, Vincent senses Catherine's emotions, and becomes her guardian. The series follows the developing relationship between the characters and the division between New York and the hidden world beneath it. In a twist from the original tale, however, this "beast" does not transform into society's idea of beauty after gaining the love of Catherine. Rather, Vincent's inner beauty is allowed to remain the focus of who he is, and it is Catherine's life which transforms from her relationship to Vincent.
In the third season, after the death of the character Catherine, Jo Anderson became the new female lead, playing Diana Bennet, a police woman investigating Catherine's murder.

Thanks so much for Beauty & the Beast! Love it! But one of the MegaUpload files is corrupted: 3x07.A.Time.To.Heal (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UYHWKF7E). The one on MegaVideo works, but not MegaUpload. I tried downloading it twice, but the file is bad. Could you please, please re-upload it again? -- Connie

I know it should and have no idea why it doesn't. The file's 350MB, but only 4 seconds long (the NYC skyline intro shot). I ran DivFix++ (freeware that repairs AVI files), but so many sectors are damaged that when DivFix finished skipping over those bad ones, the entire AVI file had lost 7 minutes and is now very choppy. But at least this allows it to play to the end now. (I did this for both identical files I downloaded with same result.) I know it's a pain, but if you could please upload the file again, that would be wonderful! -- Connie

I just downloaded it for the 3rd time, thinking that maybe I just had bad luck the first 2 times. But again had same result: that file is definitely corrupted. -- Connie

Hmm seems you're right. I tried it and it doesn't work. Wonder why noone else ever mentioned it? :/
