It is a continuing film adaptation based on Thomas' UPN/CW television series of the same name and stars Kristen Bell reprising her role as the title character, in addition to being one of the film's producers. Warner Bros. will open the film in the United States on March 14, 2014 in AMC Theatres in select markets.
