Twisted

Twisted (stylized as twiƨted) is an American teen drama mystery-thriller television series. The pilot episode aired on March 19, 2013 following the season 3 finale of Pretty Little Liars, and the show's first season of 11 episodes resumed airing on June 18, 2013.
On July 30, 2013, Twisted was picked up for a full season. Ten additional episodes will be produced. The remaining episodes will premiere on February 11, 2014.

The series focuses on charming sixteen-year-old Danny Desai (Avan Jogia), who killed his aunt when he was eleven. Having spent five years in juvenile detention, he is released and returns to his hometown of Green Grove, New York. While trying to rekindle old friendships and facing the challenges of dealing with his judgmental peers, Danny becomes the prime suspect in the murder of a classmate. Realizing the town does not care about the truth and only wants to see him charged with the crime, Danny becomes determined to clear his name. Meanwhile, he must maintain a secret he has never told anyone: the reason he killed his aunt.

I have to say that I am impressed with most of what ABC Family has been putting out there these days. This is no exception. It's a great teen drama with lots of mysterious twists, love triangles and family secrets. Is Danny the "Socio" everyone thinks he is? Or is there something bigger yet to be revealed?

A massive cover-up leads Danny and Jo to wonder if someone is out to help or hurt them, and Kyle can't quell his suspicions that things aren't at all what they seem. Danny comes into a sizable amount of money, which puts the spotlight on him again in town and complicates his relationship with Karen. Jo confronts Tess about the tension between her parents and Tess drops another huge revelation on Kyle.

Jo bonds with Charlie and realizes that she needs to move on with her life without Danny. Jo surprises everyone, including herself, when she decides to run for student body president, which complicates things with Rico, whose girlfriend Andie is also vying for the job. Danny is still haunted by Vikram, and Lacey, knowing something is up, confronts him about what he's hiding. Jack's daughter, Whitney, who has returned to Green Grove after being kicked out of boarding school, encounters Karen and strikes up a quick friendship with Lacey.
