Are You There, Chelsea?

Are You There, Chelsea? (formerly known as Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea) is an American television comedy created by Dottie Zicklin and Julie Ann Larson. It is based on Chelsea Handler's 2008 best-selling book Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea and began airing on January 11, 2012, on NBC.
The series follows an outspoken woman, Chelsea Newman (the show's protagonist, a character based on Chelsea Handler), and her circle of working-class twenty-something friends in New Jersey through the narration and observations of Newman. Many situations are inspired by Handler's book, which is based on her career in her twenties.

Another ballsy cast of women. It's still early days on this one, but it's pretty good so far.

  1. I think Laura Prepon makes a better Chelsea than Chelsea herself ;)

  2. hehe I know I'm loving the portrayal she does. Especially seeing as Chelsea is there watching her play her.
