The Musketeers

The Musketeers is a BBC Television historical action drama series based on the characters in Alexandre Dumas's The Three Musketeers and co-produced by BBC One and BBC Worldwide. The first episode was shown on BBC One on 19 January 2014.
Set in 1630 Paris, D'Artagnan, Athos, Aramis, and Porthos are a group of highly trained musketeers who fight to protect the King and Country.

I just discovered this show, and have only caught the first ep so far, but I can't wait to get a chance to sit down and catch up. It is very well done. They are not being depicted as the perfect heroes. they are flawed. But it makes them more real. Think this has the makings of a very good series.

The Musketeers - 1x07 -- A Rebellious Woman

Aramis and d’Artagnan end up being thwarted as they attempt to transport a young woman and her baby from a village outside Paris to the Palace after her baby is abducted. The king’s hunting party is disrupted by the sudden appearance of Louis’s banished mother, Marie de Medici who is in the need of help.
