House (also known as House M.D.) is an American medical drama series that premiered on Fox on November 16, 2004. The series finale aired on May 21, 2012, following an hour-long retrospective.
An antisocial maverick doctor who specializes in diagnostic medicine does whatever it takes to solve puzzling cases that come his way using his crack team of doctors and his wits.

This is one of those shows that you ca n watch each week and enjoy even if you haven't seen any of the others episodes. But you will want to watch the rest. I have to say that I enjoyed the original team better and feel it's never quite gotten that same chemistry back.
