Dan for Mayor was a Canadian television sitcom, that debuted on March 1, 2010 on CTV and The Comedy Network. Cancelled due to poor ratings after 2 seasons.
The series stars Fred Ewanuick as the titular Dan, a slacker in his early 30s who, after finding out that his ex-girlfriend is engaged, finds himself running for mayor for his home town by a chance comment. When his opponent is hit by a bus and killed, Dan knows that he will win the election.

Honestly I never got all the way through this one. It had it's funny moments. I wasn't thrilled with the supporting cast. When I finally do sit down to finish watching I'll give a full report.
